Polish Academy of Science - Łódź Branch

The Łódź Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences was established in 1977. It is one of nine branches of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poland. The Łódź Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences is located on the ground floor of the Kindermann Palace at 137/139 Piotrkowska Street.

The last elections for the Branch’s authorities took place on November 18, 2022, during the Branch Assembly Session. Prof. Andrzej Bartoszewicz, PhD, Eng., member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, director of the Institute of Automation at the Lodz University of Technology, was elected president, and Marek Potrzebowski, Prof. PhD, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, from the Center for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lodz, was elected vice-president.
